Angelina Ballerina is a cartoon mouse, created by author Katharine Holabird and illustrator Helen Craig, who is featured in a series of children’s books. The series is set in Chipping Cheddar, a place similar to 1920s London. The first book in the series was published in 1983, and since then, there have been over twenty books in the series. The name for the ballet mouse Angelina was inspired by the name of an editor called Angela at Aurum Press.[1]

The books have been adapted into three children’s television series (one conventionally animated, one CGI, one upcoming), as well as a touring ballet.

Angelina Ballerina has been available in Planet Kids mobile app and connected TVs since Septembre 2017, and has 8 episodes in each of the avialable languages: english, spanish and portuguese.
